SMS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
For Registered Users

These SMS Terms and Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern automated text message communications sent by Decoy Wallet to you as a registered user of the Decoy Wallet mobile application ("App"). These SMS Terms are incorporated by reference into the Decoy Wallet Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

By creating an account, providing your mobile phone number, or enabling any alert or notification feature within the App, you consent to receive automated text messages from Decoy Wallet at the mobile phone number associated with your account, in accordance with these SMS Terms.

1. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Decoy Wallet LLC ("Decoy Wallet," "we," "us") operates an automated SMS notification program (the "Program") that delivers text messages to registered users in connection with the following features and circumstances:

Account and security alerts, including login notifications, account changes, and security-related events;
Duress and alert status notifications, including confirmation that a Duress PIN has been triggered, that an alert has been sent to your Emergency Contacts, or that an alert has been cancelled;
Emergency Contact consent and invitation status updates, including confirmation that an Emergency Contact has accepted or declined designation;
Subscription payment confirmations and upcoming payment reminders;
Wallet activity alert notifications, as configured by you within the App; and
Transactional and service-related messages necessary to operate and maintain your Account and the App's safety features.

The Program does not send marketing or promotional messages without your separate express written consent. All messages delivered under these SMS Terms are transactional, account-related, or safety-related in nature.

2. CONSENT TO RECEIVE AUTOMATED MESSAGES
By enrolling in the App and providing your mobile phone number, you expressly consent to receive automated text messages from Decoy Wallet at the number you provide. You acknowledge that:

Messages may be sent using automated technology, including an automatic telephone dialing system or similar system, as that term is understood under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, 47 U.S.C. § 227 ("TCPA") and applicable FCC regulations;
Your consent to receive these messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service, except that certain safety-critical features of the App, including the Duress Alert and Emergency Contact systems, rely on SMS delivery and cannot function without it; and
You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to the opt-out process described below, with the understanding that withdrawal may disable certain core features of the App.

3. MESSAGE FREQUENCY AND TYPES
Message frequency varies based on your Account configuration, the features you enable, and events that trigger automated notifications within the App. You may receive multiple messages in rapid succession during an active alert event. During non-alert periods, routine transactional messages are infrequent.

4. CARRIER RATES AND COMPATIBILITY
Message and data rates may apply. These charges are billed by your wireless carrier and are your responsibility. Decoy Wallet is not responsible for charges incurred in connection with receipt of messages under these SMS Terms. Not all mobile devices or wireless carriers support the Program. Decoy Wallet is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages due to wireless carrier limitations, network outages, or device compatibility issues.

5. HOW TO OPT OUT
You may opt out of non-essential SMS messages at any time by texting STOP to the Decoy Wallet SMS number that sent you the message.

Upon receipt of a valid STOP request, Decoy Wallet will send a single confirmation message and will cease sending non-essential SMS messages to that number.

IMPORTANT: OPTING OUT OF SMS MESSAGES WILL DISABLE CERTAIN CORE SAFETY FEATURES OF THE APP, INCLUDING THE ABILITY TO RECEIVE DURESS ALERT CONFIRMATIONS AND EMERGENCY CONTACT STATUS UPDATES VIA TEXT MESSAGE. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE SMS NOTIFICATIONS IF YOU OPT OUT. DECOY WALLET IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY HARM ARISING FROM YOUR DECISION TO OPT OUT OF SMS COMMUNICATIONS.

You may re-enroll in the Program where supported by texting START to the Decoy Wallet SMS number or by re-enabling SMS notifications within the App.

6. HOW TO GET HELP
For assistance with the Program, text HELP to the Decoy Wallet SMS number that sent you the message or contact Decoy Wallet support at support@decoywalletapp.com. Additional information is available within the App.

7. SUPPORTED CARRIERS
The Program is supported by major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and other participating carriers. Carrier support is subject to change without notice. Decoy Wallet does not guarantee Program availability on all carriers or in all geographic areas.

8. PRIVACY
The collection, use, and storage of your mobile phone number and related information in connection with the Program is governed by the Decoy Wallet Privacy Policy, available at www.decoywalletapp.com/privacy-policy and incorporated by reference. Your mobile phone number will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. It may be shared with SMS delivery providers as necessary to operate the Program.

9. NO GUARANTEE OF DELIVERY
DECOY WALLET DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT ANY SMS MESSAGE WILL BE DELIVERED, RECEIVED, OR RECEIVED IN A TIMELY MANNER. MESSAGES MAY BE DELAYED OR UNDELIVERED DUE TO WIRELESS CARRIER LIMITATIONS, NETWORK CONDITIONS, DEVICE SETTINGS, OR OTHER FACTORS OUTSIDE OF DECOY WALLET'S CONTROL. THE APP'S SMS FUNCTIONALITY IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR CALLING 911 OR CONTACTING EMERGENCY SERVICES DIRECTLY.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Decoy Wallet's liability in connection with the Program is limited as set forth in the Terms of Service. Decoy Wallet shall not be liable for any harm, injury, or loss arising from delayed, failed, or undelivered SMS messages, including in connection with any safety or emergency event.

11. MODIFICATIONS
Decoy Wallet may modify these SMS Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the App, website, SMS, or email prior to taking effect where required by law. Your continued use of the Program after the effective date of any modification constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

12. GOVERNING LAW; ARBITRATION
These SMS Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without giving effect to any conflicts of laws principles. These SMS Terms are subject to the same arbitration agreement and class action waiver provisions set forth in the Terms of Service, which are incorporated by reference.
